INDICATIONS FOR USE: The Medicant Mucosal Atomizer is intended for the application of topical anesthetics to the oropharynx and upper airway region.
Patient Population: Individuals requiring topical anesthetic at the direction and discretion of the clinician.
Environments of Use: Hospitals, sub-acute settings where topical solutions are needed.
WARNING: Do not use on multiple patients (Single Patient Use Only)
Use only with a 3-cc syringe - Not made with natural latex rubber

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
- Inspect the Atomization Device. Do not use if device or accessories appear deteriorated or damaged.
- If connected, disconnect Atomization Device from syringe.
- Draw prescribed amount of solution into syringe.
- Inspect the solution in the syringe for air bubbles. Eliminate air bubbles by holding the syringe with the tip upward and gently tap the barrel of the syringe. This will move any air bubbles trapped in the medication toward the tip and can be expelled.
- Insert the syringe tip into the Lure Lock connector at the base of the Atomization Device. Turn syringe to the right to secure.
- Place the Atomization Device into the oropharyngeal cavity or nasal cavity via the nostril.
- Forcefully, press the syringe plunger to atomize the solution into the oropharyngeal or nasal cavity.
- For nasal application, if indicated, repeat in other nostril.
